Information and purpose

When you submit the contact form, we receive your name, email address and message. We use these to answer your enquiry and manage related business discussions. Please do not submit identity documents, banking details or other sensitive information.

Making an enquiry is voluntary. Your name, email address and message are required to submit the website contact form. Without these fields, the form cannot submit your enquiry. An enquiry is not automatic permission for unrelated marketing.

Hosting and form services may process technical details, such as IP addresses and requests, to deliver the website, protect it and handle submissions.

Service providers and external links

Netlify hosts the website and receives and stores contact form submissions. We use those submissions to respond to enquiries. Our email service also processes correspondence when we reply by email.

Optional email notifications can be configured in the Netlify dashboard. When enabled, enquiry information may also be sent to the configured email service. Notifications to our Gmail inbox still require configuration and delivery testing.

These services may involve processing outside South Africa.

WhatsApp and social-media links take you to services with their own terms and privacy notices. External media providers may receive technical request information when their media loads.

Retention

We keep enquiries only for as long as reasonably needed to respond, manage the related business relationship, resolve disputes or meet legal requirements. We must review and delete or securely dispose of information when it is no longer needed.

Security, rights and complaints

We take reasonable steps to protect information and limit access to those who need it. No internet service guarantees absolute security.

You may ask whether we hold information about you, request access or correction, request deletion where applicable, or object where the law permits. Email emalekutufarming@gmail.com. Identity verification may be needed.
